common questions about the Pax
Draconis book, rules and setting.
What is Pax Draconis?
Pax Draconis is a traditional pen and paper role-playing game in which players act the parts of fictional characters solving plots presented by their gamemaster.
It uses a unique and easily-learned d100 system – ten attributes define a characters' performance, while thirty skill groups define their capabilities. Detailed rules support realistic combat, and detailed non-violent methods for solving problems.
The game setting details an entire galaxy, and rules cover every facet of that universe, with an emphasis on realism and playability. Computer hackers, mech pilots, starship captains and the mystical savants are all options for players. It's a multi-genre setting, supporting both space opera and cyberpunk styles.
